Our cutting capabilities were increased in March 2007 with the introduction of a “Flow Water Jet Cutter”.

With this machine any kind of material from mild steel, aluminium, stainless steel, armour plate to marble granite ceramics and glass are able to be cut to a maximum of 200mm thickness.

Sheet sizes up to 4 m x 2 m can be placed on the bed.

This machine is fitted with a special feature called Dynamic Water Jet. This means significantly higher cutting speeds can be achieved resulting in more accurate parts than those cut with a conventional water jet. This feature allows stream lag and taper to be virtually eliminated, meaning other processes such as machining are no longer required.

Setting the machine is done by PC-based control.

Having two heads allows optimised cutting times for better quality and speed.

Several pieces of material can be placed onto the bed at any one time of any thickness and these can be interchanged regularly with little or no disruption.
